Welcome to Life in Pixels. We are Chris and Laura Noakes - a husband and wife photography team based in Rotherham.
Here's a little info about us...
We met in 2001 and have been together ever since. We bought our first home in 2007 and finally married in 2013 in New York City surrounded by a handful of our family and friends.
We have both been avid photographers for many years and have always aimed to better ourselves by learning new techniques. We’ve embraced all aspects of technology and software when it comes to our cameras and business. Finally In 2015 we decided to start our own photography business. We’re both passionate about what we do and take pride in every image we create.
Hudson - Our Golden Cocker Spaniel
Early 2017 we are pleased to bring a new member to the our family. Hudson (Named after the Hudson River, New York) as we wanted something to remind us of our amazing city we were married in and constantly re-visit when possible. He's a mischievous but loving dog and we couldn't be happier he's in our life.(we love taking photo's of him too) 😊

Our Equipment & Studio
We use Nikon gear for the most parts. Why? Well it works for us and we are used to it! We have small studio in our home, we feel that having this in our home offers the client a personal touch and makes everyone feel
comfortable while we take our photographs.
We use high spec PC's and Apple Macbooks for managing and editing our images.
We have various storage solutions for keeping your photos safe for a lifetime.
Software
We use Adobe products, We use Lightroom most of the time but will break out Photoshop if a picture needs something a little special.
